Mississippi Alliance for Spay and Neuter was founded in 2002 with the primary goal of reducing euthanasia and suffering of homeless animals by providing low cost spay & neuter, by engaging the cooperation of the community, and by raising the awareness of pet overpopulation.

We educate people on Animal Issues. We promote spay, neuter, vaccination programs, and do other educational work. We are opposed to euthanizing of pets that are healthly and instead try to find them homes. All of our cats are healthly when released for adoption.

We were founded in the year 2000 and in the year 2005 we partnered with Best Friends Animal Society in order to help save animals left behind in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. The two organizations worked together on St. Francis grounds for 9 months after the hurricane and saved 4000 lives. Many of our supportrs have moved away, some temporairly and some perminently. We continue to work with the Gulf Region to help them regain their independance again

The Animal Care Society's prime purpose is to find new, caring homes for pets whose owners can no longer give them the love or care they need. We provide a "home away from home" atmosphere and access to medical care. Because our space is limited and we do not practice euthanasia, a pet's age, temperament, and health are factors we must assess before taking in any pet.

Forever Home Rescue and Sanctuary is a home based, no kill shelter and sanctuary. We have a large number of animals in our shelter and many that have permanant residency. Many of our permanant residents are special needs animals, either abuse rescues or have health related issues. We do not place these animals usually and do our best to provide a loving, healthy and happy home for them for their entire life. Our adoptable animals come from our local shelter and the many who are dropped off here. We then do what we have to, to make them healthy, vaccinate them, spay or neuter them, and finally place them for adoption. This is a very costly process as most of them come to us sick
