North Ellis County Animal Awareness ProgramNECAAP is a non-for-profit animal rescue for the injured and ill animals. We take in special needs homeless animals. Specifically, animals that have been hit by cars,heartworm positive dogs, mange-ridden ,and we also take in the seniors that are hard to place. All of our animals that go to the Rainbow Bridge are cremated and never sent to a land fill. We are always in need of old sheets, blankets, playpens, pet taxis, puppy formula,and baby bottles. TAILSTAILS is a small 2 person rescue group; however, we have wonderful friends that help us with Adoption Clinics, medicate dogs, bathe dogs, or anything we may need. We basically handle dogs and puppies that are dumped at our doorsteps and occasionally a cat may appear. We live in Van Zandt County and have no alternative except kill shelters.
