Piedmont Animal ControlThe Animal Control Shelter, or the City Pound exists for the safety of the animals found at large; to protect the people of City of Piedmont; and as a temporary place for unwanted / unplanned pets of Piedmont and nearby area. We get many dogs and cats in a week and are trying to do our best in finding homes for them before their time runs out. We only have so much room and even more animals coming in. Like most shelters, we can always use some help in the form of donations. Here are the things we need - some are big and some are small, but we could use them all! Animal Rescue Alliance (TARA)We are an all volunteer group dedicated to helping homeless pets in the Great Kansas City area. Our organization is the result of an alliance between several rescuers in the region who share the same goal of ending animal suffering and homelessness.
