Feline Friends is a small foster program offering cats and kittens for adoption. All cats enter the adoption program from the College of Veterinary Medicine. Unfortunately, we do not have room to accept stray cats or owner-relinquished cats from the public. Cats and kittens are FeLV and FIV negative, vaccinated with FVRCP, FeLV, and rabies (if old enough), and receive monthly flea and heartworm preventive. In addition, all cats and kittens are spayed or neutered before adoption.

Feline Friends, your first choice in South Florida for quality cat adoptions. Visit our animal shelter located on the border of Broward County and Palm Beach County.
Our Mission Statement: Our mission is to provide a permanent home for homeless and abandoned cats. We medicate, vaccinate , test for disease, spay/neuter, socialize and prepare all cats for adoption into properly screened homes. If adoption is not feasible, we keep the cat safe and healthy within the shelter for the balance of its natural life.
Feline Friends is a 100% volunteer, non-profit, 501c3 organization. Our purpose is to uphold and strengthen our portion of the "safety net." This net is the No Kill-No More Homeless Pets movement that is slowly but surely spreading across our nation. We strive to put an end to the killing of adoptable healthy cats in our area by facilitating sterilization, increasing education, and doing adoptions.

Feline Friends is established as a licensed, non-profit corporation. We are staffed strictly by dedicated volunteers, offering alternatives to the ever growing number of abandoned, neglected, and unwanted cats and kittens that are ultimately euthanized every year. To achieve our goals, we have developed two strategies: Overpopulation prevention and animal rescue. First, we will use sterilization as the long term solution to animal over population, and try to eliminate euthanasia as a form of over population control. Second, we will offer our assistance in the rescue of abandoned, neglected, and unwanted cats and kittens as our daily activities, or short-term solution.

We are a group of volunteers that adopts cats and kittens from Animal Services. We also occasionally trap cats and kittens in the area. Once a cat or kitten becomes part of the feline futures family their health is our utmost concern. All are taken to a veterinarian for a thorough exam. They are tested for feline leukemia, dewormed, defleaed, spayed/neutered and are given all necessary vaccines. They are given a quality diet and vitamins if necessary. The cats and kittens are raised in a series of foster homes where they receive a lot of care and attention
