A Home at Last Animal Adoption Network, Inc. is a very small, all volunteer, non-profit 501(C)3 organization dedicated to bettering the lives of homeless and feral cats. Through a program of trap/neuter/release, we hope to bring down the number of feral cats on Long Island. Feral and stray cats that are trapped and deemed adoptable, are placed in nurturing foster homes, socialized, given needed medical attention and then placed in carefully screened adoptive homes. We also network with other rescue organizations and shelters to find homes and match perspective adopters with the animal best fitting what they are looking for.

We take in stray dogs and cats, and if the owner does not claim the animal it becomes available for adoption. The shelter is run by Bristol's Animal Control Officers. We have a large cat room for you to meet and play with your future companion, and a large kennel area for dogs. We have also just repainted the entire shelter, so come see the new colors!! The Bristol shelter also offers a mobile vet clinic that comes to the shelter on a monthly basis with a feline spay/neuter program. The spay/neuter program is opened to the public and costs $65.00.

The Elkhart County Humane Society is a non-profit organization which relies on membership fees, fund raisers and the generous contributions from the community to help feed and house the animals that are taken in.
Unfortunately many deserving dogs and cats don't ever get to find good homes because of the overcrowding in shelters nation wide. If you are considering adopting a dog or cat, please consider a shelter animal. They didn't ask to be where they are and would truly cherish a home where they are loved and cared for always. Please help the overpopulation, be responsible owners, spay/neuter your pets.
