Kanyon's GoldKanyon's Gold Rescue (KGR) is a small, non-profit, group of volunteers, dedicated to the rehabilitation, care, and adoption of animals rescued from euthanizing animal shelters in the Maryville/Knoxville, TN area. KGR is a tax-exempt nonprofit corporation as defined in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. We promote humane education and encourage responsible pet ownership. Our first priority is to rescue as many unwanted or unclaimed adoptable dogs and pups from area shelters as possible. Relatively new to rescue, 3 years experience, we are committed to doing everything we can to help aid these furry friends in need. As we are a rescue, and not a shelter, all visiting of animals in our program usually occurs in the evening or on weekends.
