Animal House RescueAnimal House Rescue, Inc. was founded in April of 2002 by Jody Goins and Nancy Romanczuk. Jody and Nancy met in 2000 when they were both volunteers at the Fulton County Humane Society. When the Humane Society decided it would no longer accept animals, they could not simply sit back and do nothing. Jody and Nancy were the ones who would get the pictures of dogs and cats on euthanasia lists all across Ohio, Michigan and Pennsylvania. So, that's when they decided to branch out and form Animal House Rescue.Animal House Rescue is a non profit rescue organization with 501c3 status. Shannons CompanionsWe are very excited to announce that donations are now tax deductable!!!! We are a private rescue organizion. We do not receive any funding so adoption fees and donations are a critical part of keeping our adoption program active. The majority of our adoptable animals are puppies/dogs that have ran out of time at other shelters, abandoned litters of puppies, puppy mill rescues and surrendered animals. We also rescue horses/ponies from abusive homes, seizure by local officials and auctions. Auntie JudysWe are a dog and cat boarding kennel,pet supply store,and pet rescue. In 2000 we started saving dogs on the day they were to be put to sleep. On there final day we pick them up, bring them here. Then they are groomed,dewormed, given dhlp and bordetella, and then taken to the vet for rabies and any other vet care needed. After all that we give them lots of love and attention. Since we do this out of our bussiness, we are not concidered non-profit. So everything we do is at our cost which you can imagine gets very costly.
