Mackenzies Animal SanctuaryMackenzie's Animal Sanctuary was founded by the Azzar family in August of 1999, after the passing of their beloved dog Mac. We are a federally recognized 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose primary goal is to place homeless dogs into loving, lifelong homes. Mackenzie's is funded soley by private donations and fundraisers and does not receive any state, local or federal funding. We have a Georgia Dept. of Agriculture Shelter License. We are dedicated to rescuing homeless cats and dogs and educating the public to be responsible pet owners with emphasis on spay/neuter of all companion animals.
