ICRA is an all volunteer non-profit organization dedicated to reducing the suffering of the abandoned cat population of Alameda and Oakland, California, through widespread spay and neuter of owned and unowned community cats, and to educate people to their plight. We provide foster homes for our rescues until we can place them into loving homes through our adoption program. We do not have a shelter. On a limited basis, we humanely trap feral cats in order to spay/neuter them before releasing them back to their colonies. On a larger scale, we provide information and education to the public to empower them to do trap, neuter, release in their neighborhoods and to socialize and to place as many cats as possible into permanent homes.

The Feral Cat Foundation is an all volunteer, non-profit group that works to reduce the suffering of feral cats and kittens in Alameda and Contra Costa counties of northern California. We accomplish this through an aggressive trap/spay-neuter/recover/release program. Young kittens are socialized and placed into loving homes. Cats that cannot be socialized are returned to safe locations where they are fed by our committed volunteers and other caring people

We are just concerned animal lovers with a penchant for picking up pooches (and kitties) from the side of the road. We do try & find the owners but oddly enough they never seem to come around. We try to find each dog/cat a good forever home where they will not just end up on the side of another road.

The San Luis Valley Animal Welfare Society is a nonprofit (501c3) with a mission to improve the wellbeing of animals (primarily dogs & cats) in the San Luis Valley (SLV). We have active rescue and spay/neuter programs. We have rescued over 2,000 homeless often suffering dogs and cats in the past 3 years. We have received numerous grants for spay/neutering dogs and cats in this valley to reduce the number of homeless pet animals. All charitable donations to us are tax deductible and will be acknowledged with a card so stating. The SLV is the largest alpine valley in the world (roughly the size of Connecticut) and currently does not have a no-kill animal welfare facility. Our goal is to build a low up-front cost, low-operating-cost, sustainable, no-kill animal welfare facility. The San Luis Valley is the poorest area of the state.

Whiskers Animal Benevolent League is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit
organization registered with the New York State Charities Registration
Bureau. We are a small, all volunteer-run, no-kill animal shelter in
Albany, New York.
Our mission is to provide abandoned, abused, and stray animals with a place of comfort, safety, and health and ultimately find them loving, responsible, permanent homes. We specialize in helping animals that have no advocate, those that have been abandoned on the streets or who have been abused. Secondly, we seek to reduce the population of unwanted companion animals by arranging for their spay/neutering prior to their adoption or through our Spay/Neuter & Release program. Finally, we seek to provide information to the public on how to better provide for and enjoy their companion animals.

As one of the few "full adoption" organizations in the state of Oregon, SafeHaven remains committed to the philosophy of not using euthanasia to control population. Once an animal is accepted at SafeHaven, there is no limit to the amount of time that animal can spend at the shelter. Once the shelter is full, however, no new animals can be accepted, thus preventing our current residents from being euthanized to make room for newcomers. It is this policy which differentiates SafeHaven from publicly funded "open admission" facilities.
