Seneca Animal Hospital, besides offering veterinary care to upstate South Carolina, we also try to help abandonded, stray, and homeless animals. Since we are a small facility, our space is limited to the number of homeless animals we can keep, and therefore do not take in animals on a regular basis.

The primary and motivating concern of the Golden Corner Animal Guardians is the Protection and welfare of creatures great and small. Though we are not opposed to the legitimate and appropriate utilization of animals in the service of man, such utilization gives man neither the right nor the license to exploit or abuse any animal in the process.

To rescue pets from area shelters & veterinarian’s offices that are scheduled for euthanasia or who have little hope of being adopted or rescued from other resources. To provide safe-haven, medical care, socialization and love treating them as our own until God sends their permanent families to us, or until He calls them home. To treat all, both animal and human, with Christian love and charity as we perform the work God calls us to do as stewards of His creation.

The Frances R. Willis SPCA will strive to instill humane principles into society through the prevention of cruelty to animals. The FRWSPCA will feed the hungry, shelter the homeless, reunite lost pets with owners, and through adoptions, find homes for as many stray animals as possible. The FRWSPCA will practice animal kindness, fight overpopulation by encouraging spaying and neutering, and champion responsible pet ownership through public education

Over the years we have expanded our facility, but we continue to reach our capacity because our community is growing and because the pet overpopulation crisis is not abating. In 2002 the shelter served nearly 5,000 homeless or unwanted animals.
But there is good news. We are very proud to have an adoption rate which exceeds the ASPCA national average. And we're working hard to spread the news about pet adoption, spaying and neutering, and responsible pet ownership.
