CompAnimals began as a Senior Pet Rescue in 1999. CompAnimals has gone on to rescue over 650 more unwanted pets. We have expanded to help all animals in need but specialize in the "unadoptables": cats & dogs missing hair, animals needing surgery prior to adoption, missing limbs or eyes, sick kittens or puppies that don't have a chance at the shelter, any animal that just needs a little extra TLC before finding that forever home. Of course we won't turn away a perfectly healthy dog or cat who, through no fault of his own has found himself on death row. And we still have a soft spot for that graying muzzle...

The Lehigh County Humane Society is a non-profit, charitable organization, which means all gifts to the shelter are tax deductible. The shelter's goal is to reunite lost pets with their owners and to adopt out homeless pets into a new, loving, forever home. We provide a temporary home until a permanent one can be found. We also provide such services as a low cost spay/neuter clinic, vaccination clinics twice a year, education to the public on the importance of spaying and neutering their pets, and education on proper care of your pets. We also have a cruelty investigator to serve Lehigh County. Any cruelty complaints made are investigated and any action deemed necessary will be initiated.

We are a small group of dedicated foster homes working one animal at a time to bring down the number of homeless companion animals. We work towards quality rescue and placements as opposed to quantity. Our wonderful volunteers all work full time jobs and do this out of the kindness of their hearts. We provide medical care to all of our animals, this includes but is not limited to vaccines, deworming, flea preventative, testing, and of course spaying and neutering(on all cats and kittens, dogs are adopted out with the new owner having the responsiblity).

Given A Chance Rodent Rescue is a small family run rescue based in and around Allentown, PA. We offer the animals that come in to our rescue a one on one relationship based on the well being of the animal, thus limiting the number of fosters we can accept at any one time into our household. The animals are given large cages and are always housed on Carefrresh bedding.
