Animal House RescueAnimal House Rescue, Inc. was founded in April of 2002 by Jody Goins and Nancy Romanczuk. Jody and Nancy met in 2000 when they were both volunteers at the Fulton County Humane Society. When the Humane Society decided it would no longer accept animals, they could not simply sit back and do nothing. Jody and Nancy were the ones who would get the pictures of dogs and cats on euthanasia lists all across Ohio, Michigan and Pennsylvania. So, that's when they decided to branch out and form Animal House Rescue.Animal House Rescue is a non profit rescue organization with 501c3 status. Stop The SufferingSTS rescues animals from high kill rural shelters on the euthanasia list. In special circumstances we take owner surrenders. We transport dogs & cats to other approved 501c3 rescues and take some into our adoption program. In our adoption program they spend time in boarding awaiting a foster home. They are completely vetted including spayed or neutered, heartworm checked and started on prevention and are given all vaccinations including rabies.
