Almost Home Animal Rescue League is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to finding loving forever homes for homeless animals. We are strongly against the senseless act of euthanasia of adoptable animals and are continuously striving to make euthanasia a thing of the past.
We are made up of a group of dedicated volunteers, without them, Almost Home Animal Rescue League would not exist. We have no paid staff.
The Almost Home Animal Haven of Southfield is a "REAL" no-kill shelter.
A place where frightened animals need not be frightened. Where animal's with special needs are not discriminated against. A place that radiates warmth and love to all animals whether they are young or old, sick or healthy, maimed or beautiful. A place to feel safe and "BE" safe. We rely solely on the generosity of animal lovers like you. Your donation could mean the difference between the life and death of an animal. We do not receive any government funding or tax support. We operate entirely on donations and every penny goes directly to the animals.
Almost Home Animal Haven of Southfield
The shelter is open for adoptions every Wednesday from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. and every Saturday from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. at 25503 Clara Lane in Southfield, Michigan, near Telegraph and 11 Mile off Franklin Rd. by the I-696 overpass.
Almost Home Animal Rescue League
We also have an adoption event every other Saturday at Premier Pet Supply, 31215 Southfield Road, Beverly Hills, Michigan. Dog and cat adoptions are 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. (January 20, February 3 & 17, March 3, 17 & 31, April 14 & 28, etc.)

We are a small private foster network dedicated to assisting felines in need in St. Clair County. Most of our adoptables were previously strays or were relinquished due to owner illness. We are a group of dedicated people who rescue cats simply because we love them and see the need to offer our assistance. Currently, we are accepting cats into rescue by vet refferal only because of our limited foster space. All of our foster cats are well loved, tested for FIV/FeLV, receive the best vet care and are feed a high quality diet (Nutro Foods). We will do our best to help you find the purrfect friend for life!

Jethro's Place Animal Sanctuary was founded in 1999. We realized there was a real need for an organization that was dedicated to the no-kill movement, but also an organization willing to advocate on behalf of the voiceless. It's been a difficult journey at times, but always rewarding. Jethro's Place is a leader in the movement to end the sale of homeless pets to Research Dealers by Michigan Shelters and Pounds. Jethro's Place also is a strong voice for ending pet overpopulation through spay/neuter programs.

Animal Pals is a non-profit and qualified 501(c)3 charitable organization who primarily rescue cats and kittens. We do occasionally get in a puppy or dog. We are just a small, home based group of volunteers. We do not have a shelter and our pets are fostered in people's homes. Our goal is to provide care for cats and kittens in need while evaluating their behavior and personality so we can find the best possible home for the animal.
