Adopt a Friend for Life of Southwest Michigan - otherwise known as AFL - is an all-volunteer animal rescue organization and was specifically organized to fill a very specific void in our community, namely to offer an alternative to the traditional overcrowded, overtaxed and undermanned animal pounds. We are incorporated with the State of Michigan, a federally recognized 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit corporation, and registered with the Michigan Dept. of Agriculture as an Animal Sheltering Agency (status pending)

Welcome to Michigan Animal Rescue League (MARL), a non-profit organization that has played a vital role in the Pontiac community since 1951. MARL's mission is to shelter cats and dogs found as strays or surrendered by their owners, rehabilitate them in a stable, nurturing environment, and then find the best adoptive homes for them. MARL also reaches out to help many animals in the community who are enduring hardships in their permanent homes. We provide our "residents" with the right foods, safe and comforting surroundings, socialization and training, daily exercise, and medical care.

The Eaton County Humane Society is a non-profit organization committed to public education of domesticated animal issues and rehoming of the great pets. Our five main priorities are:
The ECHS will help homeless domesticated animals find permanent, loving homes by increasing visibility of animals available for adoption, increasing the number of foster homes within the county, and work for a permanent solution for interim housing of homeless animals.
The ECHS will work tirelessly to increase the spay/neuter rate of pets within Eaton county by continuing to educate the public on the importance and benefits of spaying/neutering and to help offer low-cost spay/neuter operations to low income Eaton county pet owners.
We currently do not have a shelter. All of our pets are cared for in foster homes.
