We are dedicated to finding lifetime homes for abused, abandoned, neglected or owner surrendered cats and kittens. All rescued cats or kittens are temporarily fostered in our homes (not a shelter) until a qualified, responsible applicant can be matched to each individual cat and permanently adopted. We maintain the highest standards of comprehensive veterinary care which, includes but is not limited to: sterilizing all cats as age permits, immunizations, FIV/FELK testing and parasite control.

The West Michigan Ferret Connection was established in October 2001. In this short amount of time, I've been able to rehome over 150 ferrets.
In addition to WMFC, I am also one of the Founders of the Midwest Ferret Fellowship, a Michigan based group dedicated to educating and promoting the domesticated ferret as a companion pet.

CRASH's LANDING is a NON-PROFIT, no-kill Cat Rescue & Placement Center. As we are owned and operated by a veterinarian, all cats in our custody will have been Feline Leukemia tested, vaccinated for Rabies, Feline Distemper/Calicivirus/Rhinotracheitis and Feline Leukemia and will have been spayed and/or neutered (if old enough). Cats have been dewormed and flea-treated as well. We are staffed by diligent, hard-working, cat-loving, non-paid volunteers who do this simply becasue they love our feline friends. Without their tireless efforts, CRASH's LANDING would not exist! Our mission is to take abandoned, unwanted STRAY kitties off the streets and place them into loving, permanent homes.

Reubens Room is a non-profit no-kill cat rescue and placement organization in the greater Grand Rapids area. Reubens Room is an alternative cat rescue founded in 2003 to help fill the need for cats who might otherwise be surrendered to a shelter where they might be euthanized, or are homeless, ill or neglected. We specialize in placements of adult and senior socialized cats with senior people, in senior living centers and in other adoption situations including single people and families who have a track record of being responsible and loving human companions and understand that a commitment to an animal is for a lifetime.

We are people looking to find animals good homes and give them the best care we can provide. We work very hard to make sure every animal gets the love that it deserves. The reason we started posting pets on the internet is because we know we have wonderful animals at our facility and that not just people in our community should know about them, other people should too, giving them an even better chance at finding new, loving homes! We did this for the sake of all our animals.
