Vicky's Pet ConnectionVicky's Pet Connection is a growing non-profit organization in Kent County. Our mission is to rescue and recycle unwanted pets and to emphasize low/no cost spays and neuters. Every dog and cat that passes through VPC is sterilized. We are a "no kill" organization working to secure foster homes for the many animals that pass through our door. The pets are given medical attention, grooming and manner lessons if need be. Keep in mind some of the animals have been neglected (or worse) and foster homes provide the extra TLC they may need. Camp KittyWe are a no-kill cat and kitten rescue group and you'll see from time to time the occasional collie dog. Our mission is to place homeless, unwanted or abused cats and kittens into permanent, responsible homes. Animals are given comprehensive veterinary care including feline leukemia and FIV testing, sterilization (if old enough), immunizations, and parasite control. Because all animals are fostered in our homes, they are well socialized before adoption Two Locations to Serve Your Cat Adoption Needs! In addition to our fosters in Brighton, we also have fosters in the Tecumseh area. And if the cat in whom you're interested isn't close to you, we'll make that happen. H.O.P.E. Animal ShelterH.O.P.E. Animal Shelter is dedicated to providing loving pets to loving people. We are a not-for-profit,no-kill shelter located in the upper penninsula of Michigan, next door to Wisconsin.We are located on Easy Street in the Ironwood Industrial Park between US 2 and Ayer Street. All of our animals are up to date on shots (some have rabies shot),dewormed, and most are spayed or neutered. Unaltered animals require a mandatory $25 deposit that is refunded upon proof of spaying/neutering. All of our animals receive the medical care they need. Our adoption fees include current vaccinations and worming for both dogs and cats. All adult cats are tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV. Surrender Fees: $60 per animal contingent on available space. Reclaim Fees: $10 per day. After 5 days, all impounded animals become the property of H.O.P.E. Animal Shelter and are placed up for adoption.
