Lake Cumberland Animal Welfare LeagueThe Lake Cumberland Animal Welfare League is a non-profit, all volunteer organization. The League was created in 2000 by a group of concerned caring citizens because of the growing stray animal problem and the appalling conditions at the local animal "shelter". Volunteers work together to foster, give medical care, and find permanent loving homes for stray, mistreated and unwanted animals. Our funds come from donation jars, yard sales, ink cartridge recycling, membership dues, and individual donations. All donations are tax deductible.
