Boggs Mountain Humane Shelter Inc.Founded in 2001, the Boggs Mountain Humane Shelter was established to respond to a community need. Formal status as a non-profit was secured in January, 2002. In June, 2003, construction began on a 9,457 square foot facility situated on 3.71acres of land at the edge of a beautiful tract of U.S. Forest Service land on East Boggs Mountain Road in Tiger, Georgia. Stephens County Animal ControlWho We Are Stephens County Friends of the Shelter is the newly formed (12/09/05) Auxiliary for the Stephens County Animal Control Shelter.
