S. A. F. E. Society of Florida, Inc. began in 2001 with a few volunteers working together to save animals at risk of euthanasia. We have grown into a small group of caring individuals continuing to help homeless pets in need. We are a non-profit volunteer rescue effort dedicated to saving homeless animals and finding their "forever home".

Adopt A Rescued Pet is a new group founded by dedicated, experienced and caring volunteers. Our animals primarily come to us from public animal shelters where they are at risk for euthanasia. Pets are cared for by volunteer foster moms and dads in private homes. This provides an opportunity to evaluate the individual animal's health, temperment and needs. We screen potential adoptive families so that we can help them find an animal that will fit with their lifestyle and preferences. Our goal is to provide previously unwanted animals with a stable home and love for a lifetime.

Humanitarians of Florida, Inc. is an all-volunteer non-profit, 501(c)(3), humane organization dedicated to relieving the suffering of animals. We do this primarily through direct help programs. Our members work entirely without salary. Our first priority is to help animals in Citrus County, and maintain our programs. However, there are many rural areas in Florida which have little or no help for animals. We are chartered to go into those areas and do so when our funds permit. We actively seek to find "forever homes" for displaced pets.

Critter Care Farm
Critter Care was founded in 1988 and relocated to north Central Florida in 1998. We are non-funded volunteers, dedicated to the care and protection of ALL animals. We have many years of experience working with the care of animals, in Veterinary Hospitals, and Animal Shelters. We provide a safe shelter, love and care for lost, abandon, abused and stray animals of all kinds. Because of our work and experience with animals, we are called upon by many citizens to take in these animals, care for them, and try to place them into loving, secure, and permanent homes. Some have become permanent residents here at Critter care Farm. We have been Wildlife Rehabilitators since 1989 and hold permits with Fla Fish and Wildlife Conservation Comm. and the Dept. of the Interior US Fish and Wildlife Serive. Critter Care is NOT a business! We operate out of our own pockets at our home, because there is a need to help animals that can not help themselves. Donations from those who care about animals, help us to take in these injured. orphaned, and homeless animals. It helps us to vaccinate, spay/neuter, get medical treatment and feed them until they are placed in a "forever" home, or the wildlife can be returned to the wild.
