Belleglen Sanctuary is a small non-profit organization that provides sanctuary to disabled and special needs cats. We have cats available for adoption who are former blood donors or who have special physical, health, or psychological needs. Some cats are elderly or have come from abusive or neglectful homes.
We are committed to spay/neuter and safe outdoor environment education for cats.
Belleglen Sanctuary was supported by volunteer care from a feline blood donor colony, donations from individuals and organizations, adoption fees, and volunteerism.
We seek sponsors for each of our sanctuary cats. A sponsor provides for the monthly costs to care for an individual cat and receives a picture and biography of the cat.

The Benevolent Animal Rescue Committee's mission is to control the dog and cat population by funding spay and neuter procedures and by altering all animals that we rescue. These animals include strays, pets that are turned over to us by their owners, and some that we rescue from city and county shelters.
Some of our funding helps limited income pet owners cover the cost of spay or neuter procedures.
Our volunteer work includes providing funds for emergency medical care of dogs and cats, providing foster housing for rescued animals, and hosting adoption shows to find good homes for rescued animals.
BARC was established as a non-profit corporation in 1992. BARC rescues, alters and finds homes for around 1800 dogs and cats each year.
