The Riverside Humane Society is a private, nonprofit limited-entry pet adoption center. No healthy, adoptable animal is ever put to sleep. When a dog or cat is accepted into the Adoption Center, they stay with us until they are adopted. Prior to adoption, each animal is either spayed or neutered and receives all necessary vaccinations. The average time these homeless little critters reside at the adoption center is 3 to 6 months.

Riverside Rescue was formed because of the tremendous amount of stray canines in the area. Taking them to the county shelter is not an option because they kill over 70% of the companions that enter their system! Over 1,000 dogs and cats are killed each month by Riverside County!

The Rosebud Society, Inc. was founded to help save and place in permanent homes as many adoptable cats and kittens as possible. The majority of our cats and kittens are taken from the local shelters at their request. These are animals that would be euthanized were we not to take them. They are the ill, the injured, and those too tiny to survive in a shelter environment to an adoptable age. It is our goal to find permanent, loving homes for these cats and kittens with individuals committed to providing love and care for the life of the pet
