Lodi Cat Connection is an all volunteer, non-profit organization offering spay/neuter assistance for cats in Lodi, California. Our mission is to stop cat overpopulation in Lodi by reducing the number of unwanted cats & kittens being put to death at local shelters. Our goal is "No More Homeless Cats" !
We are working to reduce feral cat populations and their resulting litters of kittens in our community through a humane trap/neuter/release program offering free trap loans and spay/neuter for feral cats and $10 spay/neuter for cats of low income caretakers through our "Fix-a-Feline" Program. We often have cats for adoption and promote adoptions from rescues & shelters.

We are volunteers who foster the kittens and cats on this Petfinder website. Some cats are rescued from Shelters when they are OUT OF TIME. Once we get them out of the shelter, the cats are tested & examined at a vet and then go to foster homes — where they live with the family — NOT in cages, until adopted. We also rescue homeless cats from the streets of our communities. While there are far more cats than we can foster, we're at work right here in our own neighborhoods.

Los Banos Animal Shelter is a municipal shelter that receives a lot of help from the volunteers. We are a very small shelter in a growing city. Our volunteers have opened the shelter on Saturdays for adoptions. We groom and exercise the dogs, which also help us evaluate them for placement. We also work with several rescues in an effort to save the lives of adoptable animals. We are currently working on public education, and spay/neuter programs.
