MidSouth Animal Rescue LeagueThe majority of the animals on this website are from the West Memphis Animal Shelter & Humane Society of Eastern Arkansas in West Memphis, Arkansas. When they are put into foster homes in the Memphis area, they are moved to this website. Some of the animals on this website are in foster homes with the good samaritans that rescued them. There are also some special dogs on here that other shelters, like the Oxford Animal Shelter, have asked us to put on our website to make sure that they get a fair chance at being seen. We prefer to adopt in the Mid-South AREA, usually no more than 1-2 hours away in driving distance.
