Our first and foremost goal is to ensure health and safety of the residents of Spalding County by controlling the population of unwanted animals—domesticated and otherwise.
Second, we strongly believe in the humane treatment of all animals. We put our best foot forward to ensure all animals are provided with adequate food, fresh water, and shelter. We also protect animals that have been fought, maliciously killed, injured, and permanently disfigured. By responding to your calls and through investigative efforts, we are able to charge and convict many cruelty offenders

Sparky and the Gang is a not-for-profit charitable group working to rescue dogs and place them in safe, loving homes. Group volunteers rescue primarily dogs but sometimes cats from local pounds, off the streets and from unsuitable homes. We also pull dogs off Los Angeles freeways and from areas in downtown Los Angeles and South Central. Our group works from different areas in Los Angeles and Orange County and most animals are kenneled, although some animals live in foster care. All group members work on a volunteer basis and most have full-time jobs separate from this organization

Spay and Save is a nonprofit organization, classified under Section 501(c)(3) by the IRS. We are volunteers dedicated to animals and the people who help animals. We have been in operation since 1981, and serve Philadelphia and the five county area. We provide low cost neuter/spay certificates to those in need. We also provide help to elderly or handicapped people who are unable to help their own pets, offering transportation to the vet and furnishing food from our food bank. We also place many abandoned dogs and cats. Our volunteers are constantly working to place animals in adoptive loving homes through advertising and word of mouth. Our program even extends to the remote areas of Chester and Bucks County horsebarns. We deliver and acclimate barn cats who are welcome and wanted for rodent control.
