Laws 4 Paws, Inc.Protection for Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) I have created our web site to unify all K9 rescue groups, pet owners, and everyone to finally put an end to animal abuse. The laws protecting all animals need to be amended to "FELONY CHARGES", and "ENFORCED". If people feared incarceration rather than a slap on a wrist, this abuse would STOP! We need stronger regulations regarding breeding of these pets. We must put an end to backyard breeders and puppy mills once and for all. Lebanon Police Department Animal ControlAnimal Control is responsible for the enforcement of state animal control laws and city ordinances related to animals. Animal Control Officers regularly work in cooperation with animal advocates and other local law enforcement to provide a home and shelter for abandoned pets. In 2004 officers responded to 1565 complaints involving stray animals, animal bites, and legal violations animals.
