The Foundation for the Care of Indigent Animals is a small, nonprofit, all volunteer organization that takes in small "adoptable" dogs that would otherwise be euthanized. Normally, they are under 20 lbs. Often they have medical problems, most of which can be reversed by our veterinarians. Our fees range from $100 to $250, which covers spay or neutering, vaccines, worming, and some part of any medical expenses; not all are licensed and some are microchipped. We do not have a shelter and the dogs are in foster homes; they are shown every Saturday from 10:30-1:30 at different pet store locations in San Diego.

Four Paws and Tail Rescue was founded by and 18 year old girl, named Jamie. She first started fostering for other organizations, and saw the need for more rescues in this world. As of now FPTR is a small rescue. Our vision is to expand to become a very well known rescue, we need to find more foster homes and volunteers to make our vision come true.

FOWA's primary mission is to assure the humane treatment of dogs and cats and to stimulate the public's awareness of and interest in the growth, improvement, and development of the Wayne Animals and its community programs.
Each year FOWA saves the lives of almost 1,000 animals through its aggressive adoption, spay/neuter, community outreach, and humane educational programs.
FOWA depends upon charitable donations to care for the helpless, homeless pets that come through its doors.
Donations, either in the form of funds, needed supplies, or volunteer services, are critical to FOWA's success.
