Cat CrossingWe began in May of 1991. Our main purpose has always been to rescue and place "orphan" cats into safe and loving homes. To achieve this goal we found that it was advantageous to bring together various rescue groups and private individuals who had the common need of placing cats they had rescued. Cat Crossing provides the staff to run adoption "shows." Our responsibilities are diverse, our staff does everything from screening prospective homes to buying advertising and providing the administrative backup needed to run our now extensive adoption program. Cat Haven Inc.Cat Haven is an all-volunteer nonprofit rescue organization for homeless cats and kittens in the Baton Rouge area. Cat Haven was founded in October 1999. Since inception, Cat Haven has placed over 3000 rescued cats in loving new homes. Cat Haven also has an active spay/neuter advocacy program (our Fix-A-Feline program has altered over 600 cats)and feral cat management program (which has trapped, tested, altered and released over 1200 cats). Cat Haven of WNY, Inc.We have a board of 8 officers and we try to help the cats in Erie County. We take in strays or hurt animals and put them up for adoption.
