Covering the Wirral, Ellesmere Port and Chester areas. Rescuing and rehoming animals for over fifty years, the centre cares for cats, dogs, birds, rabbits, mice, hamsters etc. They averagely rehome over 500 cats each year, so are always pleased to hear from anyone offering a good home. They would also love to hear from anyone willing to volunteer a little time for things like dog walking, gardening, fundraising and caring for the rabbits. Rehoming is carried out at both the Animal Centre in Wallasey, Wirral and Barra Boarding Kennels in Saughall, Chester.

CAPRICORN ANIMAL RESCUE

Rescuing and rehoming cats in the Essex area. In addition to their own rehoming work, the Sanctuary also now undertakes rehoming on behalf of the RSPCA. So if you are looking for a new cat companion or two, there are always a variety of fab felines here seeking a new home. Opening hours: 10.30am to 2pm every day, including Bank Holidays.

Chelmsford CPL has been helping cats since 1963, at a rate of over 1,000 a year! They cover any area within a 10 - 15 mile radius of Chelmsford. The shelter, which usually has around 50 cats awaiting new homes, is open to the public every day (except Wednesdays) from 10am to 1pm.
