Chapelhouse specialise in the rescue, welfare and re-homing of persian cats UK wide, although they will also take in and rehome any pedigree cat in need, not just Persians. They rehome pedigrees of all ages. A home check is carried out prior to re-homing. If you are looking for a persian or other pedigree cat, please consider rescuing one rather than going to a breeder. Just give them a call to find out about the cats currently in their care.
Although based in Macclesfield, Cheshire, they rehome all over mainland Britain.

Tameside and Glossop is an independent branch of the RSPCA, run entirely by volunteers, who rescue and rehome cats and other animals brought in by RSPCA Inspectors. Animals are privately boarded at MyPetStop until new homes are found. Additionally, a group of dedicated fosterers care for sick or very young cats either until they are well enough to go to the Centre or they are rehomed directly from the fosterer.

TAG Pet Rescue have been rescuing and re-homing stray and abandoned animals since 1988, and always have many cats and sometimes kittens looking for homes. Could you offer one of them the very special home they need? TAG also have lots of guinea pigs, rats and rabbits needing good homes (all buck rabbits are neutered). They also offer reduced rate spaying and neutering for cats and dogs for low income families. More information is on their website, which also contains a detailed section about caring for your pet, ensuring that your pet is a happy pet. TAG operates a non-destruction policy.
