The sanctuary is based in the Trout Creek area of Summerland, B.C. where presently 74 cats reside. King's County Animal ControlAs animal control by-law enforcement officers, we are constantly in the position of deciding the fate of abandoned dogs. Over one hundred dogs typically pass through our pound each year. Of these dogs, about half are strays that get reclaimed by their owners.
