Pas and Area Humane SocietyWe are a humane society serving a fairly remote area of Northern Manitoba, Canada. We came together as a group in 1998, incorporated, and became a registered Canadian charitable organization in 1999. As a group of dedicated volunteers, we work to raise awareness of the plight of stray and abandoned animals in the rural north, are concerned about pet over-population, and the cruelty and neglect that so often accompanies these conditions. PAWS Peoples Animal Welfare SocietyPaws offers a safe haven for pets who have been abandoned or abused. Some reside at our shelter, while others are placed in one of our temporary foster homes. Paws to Love Animal RescuePaws to Love Animal Rescue is a creation of Cheryl Lintzeris. Her dream has been to work with rescuing dogs, and to eventually open a shelter and sanctuary for many types of animals... not just dogs. As a stepping stone to this dream, Cheryl has created a wonderful business of caring for pets that do have homes. Holiday Pet Care is a dog daycare centre as well as a cageless boarding operation. They also do dog-walking, and pet-sitting. Perkins County Animal ShelterWe are a no kill shelter so many pets are here long term. All animals are spayed or neutered BEFORE adoption to help reduce overpopulation. We love to send toys and a blanket home with each new adopter and always need bedding, esp. for large dogs. Old blankets work wonderfully.
