Bird Supplies
We are proud to be the only municipal shelter equipped with its own classroom, where we conduct shelter tours as well as presenting in house programs. We also visit local schools and civic organizations. Our programs are geared for all age groups from kindergarten to forever. We present between thirty and fifty programs per year. We are proud to offer rescue services for ferrets, rabbits, reptiles, birds and all variety of pets, as well as our beloved cats and dogs. We have been involved in wildlife rehabilitation since our inception and our Director has been a wildlife rehabber for over twent five years.

The Potter League for Animals is a private non-profit organization dedicated to making a difference in the lives of animals. To promote the humane treatment of all animals, we shelter and care for lost or unwanted companion animals, return them to their homes, place them into humane environments, or sensitively euthanize them. Through community education and the fostering of relationships between people and animals, we secure their future.

South Kingstown Pound
South Kingstown Pound is a municpal animal shelter located in the Town of South Kingstown that houses the stray animal population of South Kingstown and Narragansett. The program primary mission is to house the strays animals and return them to their owners; however, unclaimed pets are adopted out to new homes.

The primary function of the South Kingstown Pound located at 132 Asa Pond Road, Peacedale is to house the stray animal population of South Kingstown and Narragansett; this includes but is not limited to: dogs, puppies, cat, kittens, ferrets, Guinea pigs, and rabbits . The South Kingstown Pound focuses on returning strays to their owners through advertising, lost & found ads , and seven days a week public access. The South Kingstown Pound also focuses on animal adoptions which can occur at the Pound in Peace Dale or off premise at PetsMart in Warwick
