Humane Society of Somerset CountyWe are animal lovers. We hate the idea of putting an animal down -- for any reason. However, unlike other shelters, we take-in all strays -- Owned animals are accepted via a waiting list as soon as room is available. There are times when an animal is simply so vicious that we can not responsibly adopt the pet to a family. Established in 1909 and chartered in 1916, the Montgomery County SPCA (in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania), has three locations. The Conshohocken facility houses the administrative offices as well as small domestic animals. The Perkiomenville facility includes a pet cemetery and horse farm along with facilities for small animals. Paws-itively Pets...Specializing in Primates & BirdsPAWS is a private rescue dedicated to the placement of unwanted or abandoned Exotic Pets. We specialize in Primates and Birds.....and also do all types of Reptiles as well. Paws has a collected experience time of over 30 years of working with animals. We pride ourself in proper care and good solid placements. Exotics can be a bit harder to place as each placement usually causes severe trauma. With this in mind Paws carefully screens all potential homes trying desperately to make this the last tranfer for this animal.
