CRC is a non-profit nature center and wildlife hospital founded in 1987. In its first few years, the educational programs of the Raptor Center only took birds to schools and public events, but in early 1994, CRC moved to its current location on a wooded hillside in southeast Eugene and opened to the public.

CRC's Mission is to preserve a healthy, viable population of birds of prey and other wildlife in their natural habitat. To accomplish this, CRC has two primary goals:
Public Education designed to enhance the awareness, respect, appreciation, and care of the earth and all its inhabitants so critical for a balanced and healthy planet. CRC uses live, permanently disabled/non-releasable birds, along with visual media and written material, to create a positive, first-hand experience of wildlife through
â—Š on-site visits to the Nature Center
â—Š off-site presentations and exhibits at schools and public events.
Rehabilitation and release of orphaned, sick, and injured wildlife, primarily birds of prey (raptors), using the highest standards of medical treatment and care, and the best facilities possible.

Little Orphan Animals, Inc. offers pet "matchmaking" and helps people find their special someone through specialized Internet marketing and aggressive networking. Working with other shelter groups and foster care networks, transitional care for displaced, convalescing and other special-needs pets may be found. Little Orphan Animals, Inc. also works with independent rescue workers, helping them locate equipment, food and medical resources in their own area.
LITTLE ORPHAN ANIMALS, Inc. is primarily a referral organization. We do NOT have shelter facilities at this time. We work with private parties, retailers, shelters, foster homes, pet transport services, law enforcement, and others to facilitate the coordination of services. Examples include arranging home checks for private parties and animal welfare organizations pre- and post-adoption, coordinating pet-transport services for pets being rehomed, researching alternative interventions for animal wellness, e.g., innovative health care, diet and behavior modification.

The Macaw Landing Foundation (MLF) Inc. was incorporated in April of 1992 as a 501(c)-3) non-profit organization. We are registered with the IRS and the Department of Justice., State of Oregon. The foundation is operated solely by volunteers, which happily allows us to spend all the donated money entirely on Macaws. (Projects Funded) The foundation is dedicated to the preservation of Macaws. We, as a conservation organization, promote and apply scientifically based information from the field to the propagation of endangered Macaws, to wildlife management, and to environmental education, while building public awareness and supporting other organizations that work to preserve Macaws in the wild.
