Wind in the WIllows Animal Rescue is an all-volunteer animal rescue organization. We place our animals into carefully screened adoptive homes . We are operate soley on donations, and the small adoptive fee from the wonderful feather babies we adopt to new loving homes. We do not have a shelter so our volunteers and foster homes are so important to us. We are a small rescue but we do whatever we can for animals in need. We accepted domestic ducks, geese and chickens as well as injured wild waterfoul in need. If you find a baby duck or baby bird do not take it from where it is unless it is endangered by another animal. Its mother is usually close by!!

We believe that all animals deserve the highest quality care, love and respect, and that owners should have access to the most current bird information possible. Unwanted exotics are accepted at WOH, and in turn are adopted out to qualified applicants.we do have foster homes throughout the northeast, including NJ, NY, PA and now NC.

We are a small, nonprofit bird rescue organization in the North Central Texas area. We have three main focuses. One is to rescue neglected, abused and abandoned birds and give them a forever home. If you know of a bird that needs a home -- please don't hesitate to contact us. The second is to try to rehabilitate them, and place them in a loving adoption home. If this goal is not possible they will remain at the haven and be loved and cared for here.

We were the first and only rescue for German Shepherds in the state at that time. Our mission was to help abused, neglected, and/or abandoned German Shepherds to find a new home for the rest of their life. Eventually, we started taking in birds and farm animals also. To date, WGSR has placed over 1000 loving pets in new homes.

We take in alot of homeless little critters/Chickens(mostly) who came from Neglect/abused or accident litters or unwanted litters. Even from SPCA/Shelters. We take them in and take care of them for three weeks to be sure they all are healthy before they can be up for adoption. There are TOO many homeless mice/guinea pigs/ferrets/hamsters/ and etc.. to breed MORE! Save animals by adopting homeless non breedable pets! They need homes more than any others!
