Birds-R-Us Avian RescueBird-R-Us is a exotic and small bird rescue located in Wisconsin dedicated to the rescue, and re-placement of unwanted pet birds. Our mission is to place our birds in proper homes. We are dedicated to finding new permanent homes for lost birds, unwanted birds, disabled or injured birds, pet birds whose owners can no longer provide a suitable home, breeder birds, and some sick birds. Too often birds are released or destroyed because their owners know of no other solution. Any healthy bird should have the option to live. No pet bird should suffer the fate of being released to starve or die from exposure. With Birds-R-Us there is a better, more humane choice! Homeward Bound Pet RescueHomeward Bound Pet Rescue is dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of homeless and neglected dogs and puppies and placing them in loving, permanent homes. All dogs or puppies are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, wormed, treated for fleas (if needed) and microchipped prior to adoption. We take great care in placing our dogs in loving homes by requiring an application, reference check, and home visit. Adoption fees range from $100-$250 based on breed and age. Although we currently have limited foster homes available, we may be able to help you place your dog or puppy. Pet Adoption Services IncPet Adoption Services, Inc. is a non-profit all breed cat and dog rescue organization in New Orleans. Supported by over 20 volunteer members, Pet Adoption Services was founded in 1996, although some of our members have been involved in rescue for as long as 20 years. Our mission is to secure loving permanent homes for homeless, abandoned or abused cats and dogs of all breeds. While awaiting adoption, our animals live in the homes of one of our foster parents. During this time the animals receive any necessary veterinary care, including but not limited to, vaccinations, spaying or neutering and perhaps heartworm treatment. Our experienced foster parents continually assess each pet's personality and temperament allowing us to place adoptable cats and dogs in just the right permanent home. Pet Adoption Services participates in adoption days during which time, potential adopters get the opportunity to meet and spend time with the animals in a "real life" situation. Pet Adoption Services holds several fundraisers throughout the calendar year so that we can continue to meet the needs of homeless animals.
