Montgomery County SPCA - AbingtonThe Montgomery County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is a nonprofit organization dedicated to caring for unwanted, lost and abused domestic animals. Established in 1909 and chartered in 1916, the Montgomery County SPCA (in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania), has three locations. The Conshohocken facility houses the administrative offices as well as small domestic animals. The Perkiomenville facility includes a pet cemetery and horse farm along with facilities for small animals. Paws Animal Rescue, Inc.Paws Animal Rescue, Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit ALL VOLUNTEER organization. All funds received(donations and adoption fees) are used directly to the benefit of the animals. There are NO paid employees. Our mission is to have all cats and dogs SPAYED OR NEUTERED. PAWS was started in May of 1999 as an exxclusinve shelter/animal control rescue. We consist of less than 12 volunteers who with the direction of our President Chris Krysher have saved over 2200 dogs and cats lives, and helped to prevent the reproduction of more unwanted animals. Some of the animals have been unjured or have medical issues and all of these are treated for the conditions they may have cost them their lives in a shelter. We are a NO KILL organization. This means that once an animal is admitted into our program we provide foster homes for them till they are adopted. Animals in Need USA - An SPCA and a Humane SocietyWe are a foster care adoption rescue group. Our rescues were either homeless or abandoned animals and come from all over the country. Unlike many other state, county, city and local groups we are not funded thru government agencies therefore we can take in animals both locally and outside our area. We have no boundaries. Many of our members are active and retired military personnel .After serving in many countries, especially in third world countries, the organization has made a difference in the lives of not only the animals, but the local people who have asked for help and who lives are no better than the homeless animals rescued. All Volunteers are now HSUS D.A.R.T CERTIFIED AND/OR E.A.R.S CERTIFIED.
